Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Midwest rescues countless Wire Fox Terriers each year from Puppy Mills, Shelters and Animal Controls. Many have been abandoned, abused, neglected and in horrific condition. They truly need help and extensive veterinary care. The expenses significantly exceed the amount raised through adoption fees. We rely on donations and contributions to continue our lifeline to these helpless Wire Fox Terriers as without your generosity, we would not exist. Although a regional and small Rescue group, we manage to save a record number of lives each year.
Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Midwest is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Midwest
Every dollar received provides care, medical services and an opportunity for a Wire Fox Terrier to have a second chance at a new and wonderful life. At Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Midwest, we go the distance for all the dogs we save. Often this includes management of unexpected health issues before they can be placed in permanent homes. Your support can work miracles for those who need extra help to find their way back to health and happiness.
Veterinary and Medical Care is the priority with adoption fees and donations used primarily for this purposes. Collars & Leashes, Beds & Blankets, Treats & Toys, Food and Care are often burdened on the pocket book of the volunteer as well as the cost of gas for transport, shelter pick up, home visits and trips to the vet. Telephone bills can get quite high talking to numerous applicants long distance and is also a personal expense of the Volunteer.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Midwest has had more than our fair share of Special Needs dogs. Pictured are just a few of the numerous cases which we have brought back to health. The costs for treatment of their medical condition can fall in the thousands of dollars. We have established a Special Needs Fund to be able to save those Wire Fox Terriers who require a special surgery or procedure to live. Whether making your Donation by mail or Paypal, please notate "Special Needs Fund".

PUPPY MILL FUND
Puppy Mill Auctions take place almost every weekend in the Midwest. If Rescues do not attend, bid on, purchase and take these dogs - they are at risk for being killed by their breeder owner or purchased by another miller who will continue the torture and horrendous life they have already endured. Many Rescues will shy away from helping these poor dogs as it can be quite expensive to first purchase the dogs and then fully vet them. Never receiving any medical care, many will need more than general vet work. The Puppy Mill Fund allows us to negotiate and attend these auctions and financially able to save these very deserving animals.
